Maker Portal Post - A team member will write a blog post with advertisements and banners linking back to the client’s respective external site. The company and blog post will be promoted on social media accounts.

BLOG POST GUIDELINES:

• Original media, prose, and citations where necessary (no plagiarism or copyright infringement)

• The content must be truthful and accurate

• Images, figures, and videos must be high resolution

• The project or article must be relevant to Maker Portal (science, technology, open-source tools, hardware, software, computer programming)

• Posts should be unique and novel - not a copy of another project elsewhere on the internet

Calculation of blog rates is based on the following standard equation:

Main Blog:

(BASE) + $0.75 x (#Views/post/month) + $25 x (#Comments/post)

Our BASE = $150, #Views/post/month (average based on top 100 pages as of May 1, 2020) = 462, #Comments/post (as of July 1, 2020) = 2
